Drei Monate 三ヶ月

:) saiai nihon nee..

English

Usually I don't write closing comments in English but for the Japanese, French and other international folks reading my blog I think it's good to make a short comment in this language ;)

I am for 3 months here right now, and well Japan is like every other country, uuh well .. a country ;) So here in Japan there are no crazy Japanese no stressed salary men working till death because they love harakiri and no special Japanese way of thinking about the world.. There are some teenagers who like dating, some elederly who like going to eat in restaurants and well some students who like studying! As you see nothing special ;)

Hattori Hanzo??!

ER lebt! In Nara!

Yes Hattori Hanzo from Kill Bill! His swords, his real samurai swords can be bought in Nara for only some thousend yen!
I already ordered mine..

Using the Hattori Hanzo sword I will feel strong.. sure.

My Blog!

Konnichiha to all!

Lately I couldn't really take care of my blog! Too busy, to much stress and/or too many problems!
SO today I'll be doing some mega update! And I promise from here on to be more texty and more frequent in my postings ;)

Yeah he looks very embarassed too, why is everybody confused when I say something? Maybe I'll never get an answer..

The "Tokyo Ningyo" shop!

So how was Tokyo? Very nice as I said before :)
Well but as you are a picture hungry bunch of people let me show you some pics I shot!
Yes I know.. toooo late.. Well still, did Tokyo change from the day I went there till today? probably! probably not ;D
As a Sri Lankan guy I know would say: "perhaps" mm..

This is TOKYO! For me at least :)

So wonderful...
The Shop in which these "Tokyo Ningyo"s were displayed was selling Kimono tissue as you can see from the first picutre. The Salesman was kind enough to let me take some shots! And I was wowed by the beauty of the shop, the tissues and naturally these puppets.. Which I definetely like far more then the "KyouNingyo".

The colours are a little old but still vivid, and the faces look very happy and relaxed. Very interesting is also the hair colour which is blond for some puppets. The puppets look like set in Edo period, when you take a look at the Maiko in the far left it is very obvious that we are in Edo period.

Let me End this post with this nice puppet, which looks like a modern alteration of this wonderful Handicraft.
To be honest I am totally wowed by this wonderful shop as I love old Japanese culture, and I am planning to visit it again!
